188Bet Affiliates have emailed numerous affiliates announcing they will close their account as a means of being compliant with the ASA.
As you may be aware, there have been recent rulings by the Advertising Standards Authority and UK Gambling Commission against operators for non-compliant advertising on both their own and affiliate websites.
188BET is fully committed to safeguarding our consumers and ensuring compliance, which is why the decision has been made to streamline the 188BET Affiliate Programme. This means, regrettably, we will be closing your 188BET affiliate account on Tuesday 31st October 2017, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
Providing that activity on your account is not contrary to the agreed Terms and Conditions, you will be paid following the closure date for any affiliate commission generated prior to this date. Please note our payment runs are on the 20th of each month.
Please ensure that you remove all 188BET promotions and creative from site by Tuesday 31st October 2017, as all rights, licenses and permissions granted to you terminate immediately and from this date you will no longer be contracted to work with 188BET.
We'd like to thank you for all the hard work you have put into promoting 188BET and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this decision may cause.
Please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
